Hello, everyone! My name is Kevin Jackson II, proudly named after the late-great Kevin Jackson Sr. You can call me Kevie 🧡 Who am I? I am an aspiring singer, model, and entertainer. More importantly, I am a dreamer, a believer, an achiever, and a child of God. I’m so grateful to be here, and I’m grateful that you’re here with me, too!!
So, what exactly is “Kultivation w/ Kevie?” KWK is my self-empowerment podcast, and my official introduction to the world. Late one night, I could not get to sleep for nothing. I tossed and turned for what seemed like hours. One thing about me is, when I cannot sleep, I know that that means God needs to have a word with me. I called out to God and said, “Okay, God. I’m all yours. Whatever it is that you need from me, I’m here.” Suddenly, I heard the word ✨podcast✨ come over my spirit. Podcast?
To be clear, I didn’t even really know what a podcast was. Sure, I heard the term before. But I’d never listened to one, and I definitely didn’t know the first thing about what I interpreted as God leading me to start my own. What would a podcast from me look like? Or better yet, sound like? I felt like I was in over my head, but when God speaks, you listen.
Fast forward to today, and I am gearing up for the release of my third season. Yes, my THIRD season! I have been producing and hosting “Kultivation w/ Kevie” since April 2022, during the thick of the pandemic. It has been one hell of a ride, and I am in love with the journey this podcast has taken me on.
My vision for this podcast, is for it to be a light unto the world; by shining my own light. There is enough darkness surrounding us, and I believe that we all have an inner light. Why not let it shine for those who need it the most? Life doesn’t have to be as difficult as we make it out to be. There is power in being exactly who you were created as. My objective is to highlight the insight, the experiences, and the expertise of various guests, who all come from different walks of life, and using their knowledge to empower others to live their own very best lives.
I have a lot of dreams; both for this podcast, and outside of it. I hope that you will join me on this mission. Season 3 will be coming to you all very soon. In addition to audio episodes, I hope to soon expand my podcast to include visual episodes on YouTube sometime in the future as well. Stay tuned for that.
