In this soul-stirring episode, I’m joined by the incomparable Shawnie Jenay—a singer-songwriter, rapper, actress, acting coach, producer, and entrepreneur—for an honest conversation about faith, purpose, and perseverance.
In our conversation, Shawnie opens up about the highs and lows of her creative journey, sharing what it really looks like to pursue multiple passions while staying aligned with your calling. We talk about late-night studio sessions, moments of self-doubt, and the importance of trusting divine timing even when the path ahead feels unclear.
Shawnie is deeply rooted in obedience and faith, allowing redirection to shape her growth rather than derail it. She speaks candidly about navigating burnout, honoring your purpose, and continuing to move forward even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. Her transparency serves as a reminder that perseverance isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about choosing to keep going anyway.
